Guizhou Institute of Electronic Information Technologists was established in October 1975. It is affiliated to the Economic and Information Commission of Guizhou Province. The college aims to train high-skilled talents, serve the economy and society, and serve the people's employment.

Guizhou Electronic Information Technician College is a national key technical school, the first batch of secondary vocational demonstration schools in Guizhou, the only national secondary vocational education reform and development demonstration school in Guizhou, a technical college, a national high-skilled talent training base, China Zhen Hua Electronics Group Corporation and Qiannan Prefecture technicians and senior technicians evaluation base.

The college is located in Duyun, the capital of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. There are 32 senior technicians and technicians, and there are currently 6,328 students. There are 306 in-service faculty and staff, the proportion of teachers with senior titles reaches 25%, and the proportion of technicians and senior technicians reaches more than 60%; the proportion of "dual teacher" teachers in professional courses teachers reaches 93.62%, 31 professional leaders, 64 backbone teachers , 55 part-time teachers in industry companies. The college uses key professional numerical control technology applications, mold design and manufacturing, automobile manufacturing and maintenance, electronic technology applications, and the construction of characteristic projects of the Hmong dance curriculum as the carrier. It reforms the traditional talent training model centered on schools and classrooms, and deepens the dualism between schools and enterprises. Cooperation, close contact with employers such as enterprises and institutions, establishment of a survey mechanism for employers, and active innovation of talent training models. The college has established 14 large-scale out-of-school internship training bases in Duyun Jiuda Machinery Factory and other enterprises to fully implement work-study integration and school-enterprise cooperation. The college implements the skills + education and "multi-certificate" system, and vigorously promotes the national vocational qualification certificate system. In the past three years, the rate of obtaining double certificates for graduates has reached more than 98%, the employment rate has remained above 98%, and the professional counterpart rate has remained above 80%. The college integrates vocational qualification standards into the curriculum system, and integrates the cultivation of students into production practice. Senior technicians, reserve technicians, and graduates of technicians are in short supply. In the 40 years since its establishment, the institute has cultivated more than 40,000 high-skilled talents at all educational levels for the country.
